Neem leaf and seed have many uses in Indian Ayurvedic medicine. Neem inhibits viruses, bacteria, fungi, and cancer cells. It can be used to combat dental plaque, and the bark may reduce stomach acid. One study has even found that neem leaf increases CD4 cell counts in HIV/AIDS patients. Neem can prevent pregnancy, so it should not be taken by women who are pregnant or want to be.

Neem leaves and seed oil can get rid of lice.
